AI Workforce

A set of AI colleagues that do a named job inside the workspace — social, projects, support, HR, recruiting, SEO — rather than waiting to be prompted.

Your AI colleagues

Who can do this

Everyone can use them. Admins decide which are switched on and what they may touch.

Before you start

  • The modules each one works in. The social agent needs Social studio, the HR one needs HR, and so on.

Step by step

  1. 1

    See who is available

Open AI Workforce. Each agent has a name, a role and a plain description of what it does. They are deliberately narrow — an agent that does one job well is more useful than one that does everything vaguely.

  2. 2

    Turn one on

Start with the module you already use most. An agent only acts inside the module it belongs to and only with the permissions of the person who enabled it.

  3. 3

    Give it context

Point it at the client, project or account it is responsible for. An agent with no context produces generic work, exactly like a new hire would.

  4. 4

    Review what it produces

Agents draft, suggest and prepare; they do not send, publish or approve. Everything lands somewhere you can read it before it goes anywhere.

  5. 5

    Correct it

When something is off, say so in the feedback. Corrections are remembered for that workspace, so the same mistake is not repeated.

  6. 6

Pause anything not earning its place

Pause an agent from its card. Nothing is lost and you can resume it later.

Worth knowing

  • Run one agent properly for a fortnight before switching on five. The failure mode is noise, not danger.
  • The assistant is the general-purpose one — ask it about your own workspace data and it answers from what you can see.
  • Nothing an agent produces is sent to a client without a person choosing to send it.

Common questions

Can an agent email a client on its own?

No. Agents draft and prepare. Sending is always a human action.

What can an agent see?

Only what the person who enabled it can see. Permissions are not widened for automation.

Do they count against my AI allowance?

Yes, like any other generation. Usage is visible in Billing.
