Knowledge Hub
The company wiki: spaces of nested pages, a version kept on every edit, and an assistant that answers from what you have written and cites it.

Spaces
Who can do this
Everyone can read the spaces they have access to and write pages. A private space is visible only to the people named on it.
Before you start
- Nothing.
Step by step
- 1
Create a space
Open Knowledge Hub and click the plus beside Spaces. A space is a home for related pages — Company, a client, a department, or something private to you. Give it an icon so it is recognisable at a glance.
- 2
Decide who can see it
A space is either open to the whole workspace or limited to a named list. Pages inherit their space, so you set the boundary once and never think about it per page.
- 3
Start a page from a template
Click New page and pick a starting point. Fifteen templates ship with the product — meeting notes, decision records, client profiles, runbooks, incident reports and more. The preview on the right shows exactly the page you will get. Blank page is the first option if you would rather.
- 4
Write it
The editor saves on its own about a second after you stop typing, and the previous version is kept every time. There is no save button and nothing to lose.
- 5
Nest pages under each other
Use Subpage to put a page inside another and build a real tree. Breadcrumbs show where you are, and moving a parent takes its children with it.
- 6
Publish when it is ready
A page starts as a draft. Click Publish when it is worth other people reading. Only published pages are searched by the assistant, so nothing half-written is ever quoted back at anyone.
- 7
Ask the hub a question
Use the ask box at the top. The answer is built only from published pages in spaces you personally can see, and every claim is numbered back to the page it came from so you can check it. If nothing covers the question, it says so rather than guessing.
- 8
Save your own template
Happy with a page's shape? Click Save as template and name it for when to reach for it. It appears in the picker for everyone in the workspace, under your team's own section.
Worth knowing
- Use Summarise on a long page to get the three things someone actually needs before a call.
- A space owner can switch a space out of the assistant entirely, which is the right move for anything sensitive.
- Archiving is reversible and is the default. Deleting for good also removes the version history and asks first.
Common questions
Can the assistant read a private space?
Only for people who can already read that space. Retrieval applies the same permissions as the rest of the product, so an answer can never quote a page you are not allowed to open.
How do I get an old version back?
Open the page, click History, and restore any version. The current text is snapshotted first, so restoring is itself undoable.
Who can delete a page permanently?
An admin, or the person who created it. Archiving is open to any editor and can always be undone.
Can I change a template after saving it?
Remove it and save a new one from an updated page. Pages already created from a template are never affected by what happens to it afterwards.
