Setting up your workspace
Create the workspace, get your team in, and decide who can see what — about ten minutes, once.

Who can do this
The person who signed up. Whoever creates the workspace becomes its owner and keeps every permission.
Before you start
- An email address you can receive mail at, to confirm the account.
Step by step
- 1
Create your account
Click Get started free and enter your name, work email and a password. We email you a six-digit code straight away; type it in to confirm the address. The code lasts ten minutes — ask for a new one if it expires.
- 2
Name the workspace
Use the agency name your team would recognise, not a project name. Everything lives inside a workspace, and members, clients and billing all belong to it.
- 3
Invite your team
Open Settings, then Members, and invite people by email. Each invite carries a role: Owner has everything, Admin runs the workspace day to day, Member does the work, HR gets the people screens. You can change a role later without re-inviting.
- 4
Set what each role can do
In Settings, under roles and permissions, you can grant or remove individual capabilities — seeing salaries, approving leave, exporting data, managing leads. Owners always keep everything; everyone else gets exactly what you tick.
- 5
Add your branding
In Settings, upload a logo and pick a brand colour. On the Agency plan this also paints the sidebar and appears on client-facing pages like invoices, proposals and booking links.
- 6
Turn on the modules you need
Your sidebar shows every module your plan includes. Social studio, HR and Automations depend on the plan; Billing & Finance is an Agency add-on. Anything you are not entitled to says so and links to the upgrade.
- 7
Start where the work is
Most teams begin with Projects or Connect Hub, then add Knowledge Hub once people start asking each other the same question twice.
Worth knowing
- Press Ctrl+K (Cmd+K on a Mac) anywhere in the app to jump to any screen without using the sidebar.
- Invite one teammate before you configure anything — it is much easier to judge permissions with a real second person in the workspace.
- The free plan covers up to 3 members for 12 months. Nothing expires quietly; the workspace tells you well before.
Common questions
I never got the confirmation code.
Check spam first, then ask for a new code from the same screen. Codes expire after ten minutes and only the most recent one works.
Can I have more than one workspace?
Yes. Use the switcher at the top of the sidebar. Teams and Free plans include a single workspace, Pro includes two, and Agency is unlimited.
Can I change the workspace owner?
An owner can promote another member to owner from Settings, then step down. There is always at least one owner.
Still stuck?
Send us the details and it becomes a tracked ticket with a reference you can follow.
